After countless debates, mind changes, himmin' and hawin', and dilly dallying, I finally got off my bum and got my bike. Yeah! Pretty stoked on that. Thanks for getting it home for me Ria! Tooled around the neighborhood for a bit yesterday, nothing too exciting, but was fun! Promptly garaged upon getting back home. I'll be taking it to work soon enough, just not today. Good dinner last night too! Thanks again for coming over Millers!

So continuing on beating the dead motorcycle horse, *thump* I now have lined up (assuming nobody buys it before this afternoon), a 2008 Suzuki GSX650F. Not as light or nimble as a GSXR, but I've done some research and it's more of an all around type bike just with sport bike looks. I've heard it described as the "Kabanditana", being a Suzuki Bandit with a Katana fairing. I got my instruction permit yesterday, so I'll be able to ride at least during daylight hours til I can get myself acquainted with the bike and take my endorsement test hopefully in a few weeks. So here we go! Anybody wanna go riding or show me how this contraption works?
Why you gotta rain on my parade C? That's just not cool. Naw, jk. So in light of recent advice from many sources on the 500 being a tad puny and underpowered and not worth buying, been looking at the GSX-R 600 and the Yamaha FZ6R. I'm open to more beatdowns from the Millers about my choices, but that's why I put these things up, so I can get feedback cuz I don't wanna get hosed and end up with something that sucks. Anyhow, there it is.
So considering that I signed myself up for LJ like 9 months ago, I figured I should actually drop in a post. Still gotta find some pictures to load in here, but that's for another time. I like peanut butter toast. It's pretty good. Peanut butter pretty much makes anything better. Celery, brownies, you name it. It's good stuff. Super bowl was slightly depressing, but then again, the Steelers are a bunch of cheaters. Or what have you. Say what you will. The last call should've been reviewed, but it wasn't. Oh well, such is life. Out of thoughts now, so I'm leaving it at that.
